Family Outing
Went to Chao Chu Kang & Mandai Memorium to pay respects to my ancestors. Found out that my ah chor passed away at 39 years old. My grandmother cooked really yummy food for them. After praying, we adjourned to eat ampang Yong tau foo! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Too bad I was too busy eating to take any photos of the Yong tau foo itself. The Yong tau foo had crispy soy bean skin, brinjal, quail egg, fish ball, tau kwa, beancurd, bittergourd, lady fingers and kang kong. A meat ravioli sauce is slathered all over this deadly concoction of fish paste goodies. However, people who don't take lady fingers and whatnot may feel that the variety is limited. On the other hand, the roast chicken we ate was super shiok! So good! We ordered char siew and roast pork as well. Well, I'll get the tantalizing photos from my bro and post it up next time!
